hi I just have a few question abt the Platt Kodama which i want to use going to Kyoto from Nagoya. i read it in this link http://www.jrtours.co.jp/kodama/en/

  1. Where can I purchase it in Nagoya or in the Chubu Centrair Airport area?
  2. Can I use it right away going to Kyoto after I purchase it ?
  3. Where can I find the Kodama timetable for the Nagoya-Kyoto and Kyoto-Nagoya route?
    4.Since I'm from overseas, how can I book it online?
    5.If I can book it online, how can I claim the pass/card once I arrive in Japan?

Hi there,

You can buy it at Nagoya station and you can use it right away if there are seats available. Note that only a limited amount of these are sold for each train and they may not be available.

You can use www.hyperdia.com to look up the time tables.
