Hi,
I understand JR Pass has a vast coverage within Japan but do we have to pay extra for reserving the seats on buses/(bullet)trains. Anyone know? On Hyperdia.com I see the price for fare + reserved seat. I would've assumed having the JR Pass, we wouldn't have to pay anything else.

Seat reservations are free with the JR Pass. You do not have any pay anything extra.
