Advise on the use of JR pass for above mention.

will it be advisable to purchase the JR pass for said destination?

Planning for a 9 day trip( Itinerary not plan yet). Arrive at Kansai airport on the 7th of nov and depart 15th nov.

How long should I spend on each location?

warmest regards,

Hi there,

A 7 day JR Pass could be useful here if you can cover the return Kansai (Kyoto/Osaka) - Tokyo using the pass.

With 9 days in mind, I would advise 2 days Osaka - 3 days Kyoto - 3 Tokyo - 1 day Osaka/fly hope.

It does of course also depend on what you would personally like to see and and do in each city.

Hope this helps,

Hi Daniel,

thanks for the advise. will not have the intention of doing Tokyo this round.

if not doing Tokyo will the JR pass still be worth purchasing?

We intend to cover Shirakawa Go. (Sorry for the typo error on the title) will the JR pass come in good use for this?

Hope to hear from you soon!
