Hi,
We (3 persons) are travelling to Osaka & stay near Namba Station from 4th to 12th Dec for 8 nights.
We plan to travel around Kobe, Kyoto, and Osaka city for most of the time. If there are extra time may travel to Nagoya. (OPTIONAL)
Is it worth to purchase the JR pass or just use the normal pass? Or is there other train pass that you can recommend?
Thank you
KK Ong
Osaka Namba Trip
Hi there,
Most of your travel (outside of your possible trip to Nagoya) will be in the Kansai Area. There are a lot of railways in Kansai and therefore travel cost is low. Generally you will be best of buying normal tickets to travel around the Kansai Area. Within Osaka you can look at an Osaka Amazing pass.
A JR Pass would be useful if you added a visit to Tokyo for instance.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
