Hi there,
I am travelling to Japan from 13-04 to 25-04 and wondering whether the JR pass is appropriate or should I consider another travel pass that I see others using. My itinerary looks roughly like this:
14/04 arrive Osaka, travel to Kyoto
May do a day trip to Nara
18/04 travel from Kyoto to Tokyo
21/04 travel from Tokyo to numazu
24/04 travel from numazu to Tokyo
25/04 Tokyo city to airport

Would love any tips you have!
Thank you!

Hi there!

I checked your itinerary for the best ticket or pass option and the best option would be to buy normal tickets for your travel. Although close, you currently don't do enough travel for a JR Pass.

Something which may be of interest:
From travel Tokyo - Numazu you've got two options.

The first is to take the Shinkansen which takes ¥ 4,720 and 70 Minutes. This is the faster route but also the most expansive. Here is an Example route with the Shinkansen.

Or use local train which only take 141 Minutes and example route can be found here

Hope this helps!
Daniel
