Hi,

I will be traveling to Japan in Apr'15 for 2 weeks. i would like to know is the 7 or 14 days JR pass the best option or i should buy individual tickets for my trip. Which is cheaper?
Is there other local pass that i could consider for each city?

Below is my itinerary and Thank you!

Arrive in Kansai airport Osaka > Hiroshima (3D1N) > Osaka (4D3N) > Kyoto (3D2N) > Tokyo (8D7N) > Depart from Narita Tokyo

Hi there,

A 7 day JR Pass could work very well if you can cover Osaka - Hiroshima - Osaka - Kyoto - Tokyo with it but this may require a bit of rescheduling. You could look at switching Kyoto and Hiroshima around. In the current situation it would be better to buy normal tickets as you travel.

Handy city pases you could consider are:
The Osaka Amazing pass. It's great for sightseeing 500yen Kyoto city bus pass.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
