Friends and I are planning to travel from Osaka to Gotemba premium outlets using JR pass then staying a night in either Hokane/ Kawaguchiko and then later heading to Tokyo. we're planning to stay in either Hakone/ Kawaguchiko since we want to stay in ryokan instead of hotel.
Could you please advise which one is better to stay between Hakone and Kawaguchiko as we will use JR pass?

There are no JR lines to Kawaguchiko, using the JR Pass it would be better to stay around Gotemba, Odawara (for Hakone), or alternatively Atami is great for onsen too.
