Hey,
I have planned the following trip:
Day 1: Arrive in Narita - Travel to Tokyo
Day 2-4: Travel around in Tokyo
Day 5: Travel to Kanazawa (Stay for a month)

I need help on the following questions:
1. Which pass should a get?
2. Does it cover the traveling in Tokyo?
3. Do i have to make any reservations? - If yes, where/when?

Cheers,
Thanks

Hi there,

1.) I suggest buying a one way ticket Tokyo - Kanazawa and look at local transport options in Tokyo. A JR Pass is great for longer distance travel and would have been great if you made a return Tokyo - Kanazawa.

2.) For options in Tokyo, I suggest looking at Tokyo Metro Day Passes.

3.) I do recommend making a reservations for Tokyo - Kanazawa, local travel does not require any reservation.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
