Hi

I would need some advise.

We are travelling 3 adults and 4 children to Japan in Dec.

Osaka - 3 days
Hakuba - 3 days
Tokyo - 4 days

Do I need the 14-days pass? What is the difference in the type of tickets.

Appreciate your help on this.

Thanks.

Hi there,

I checked the route that you will be traveling and recommend buying normal tickets for your itinerary. This because normal tickets prices will cost less than buying a 14 day JR Pass.

Osaka - Hakuba is not the most easiest of trips, this because it involves a couple of transfers. So be sure to prepare well in advance. Here is an example itinerary for you.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
