I am coming to ski in Nagano for a week in January. After skiing we'd like to visit Kyoto. Is there a JR Pass that includes both of those areas? It looks like the JR East pass covers Nagano and the JR Central pass covers Kyoto, but not both... Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Hi there,
The Japan Rail Pass covers both these locations. Depending on your route, you could also consider the Hokuriku Arch Pass.
Kind regards,
Mariko
