Could you please advise what railpass would best suit our purpose and the

Hi David,
A JR Pass is best for longer trips, think of Osaka - Tokyo. Your travel is concentrated in the Kanto region (around Tokyo) and the Kansai region (Kyoto, Osaka). With one long distance trip between Tokyo - Osaka. With this in mind my advise would be to simply buy normal tickets for your travels.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
