Hi :) I will be spending 18 days in Japan in April/May and am going to stay in Tokyo, Takayama and Osaka and do day trips from there most days.
What is the best way to get from:
Tokyo - Takayama
Takayama - Osaka
Osaka - Tokyo via the JR Rail Pass
