Hi may I ask if what kind if jr pass would you recommend coz where having a 14days vacation there, arriving at narita airport we planned to head straight to osaka fo 3 days then visit provinces, nearby then go back to tokyo to and we want also to visit sapporo. But since we dont have any idea about the places, which better to visit first. Cant do a good itinerary. And really confuse what kind of jr pass to use since there are east west etc hope you can help me.
Jr pass to use
Hi there,
Given that you plan to Osaka and Hokkaido, I would advise using a 14 day JR Pass. There is no other pass that covers both area's and you would also make very good savings compared to purchasing normal tickets.
With the JR Pass you can basically take any JR train you like and can be flexible in your itinerary.
Now that choosing what pass is out of the way, you can start filling in the details. Like what cities to visit and what to do :)
Enjoy Japan!
Daniel
