Hi , I'm little bit confused about JR PASS and IC Card . Could you help me to understand about this two cards .

Is it right JR Pass is only for Shinkansen like from Tokyo to Kyoto // Kyoto to Osaka // Osaka to Kobe ?

And IC Card is for only station like from Haneda to Shinjuku like that ?

Please let me know :)

Thanks !

Hi there,

The short:

The JR Pass is a nationwide train tickets that is valid for a period of 7,14 or 21 days and provides unlimited travel on all JR lines, including the Shinkansen.

While an IC card is basically an electronic way of paying for your transport. For details see this post.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
