questions & answers: using the japan rail pass

jr pass for 7 days including train to anywhere?

JR Pass for 7 days including train to anywhere?

My plan is to get from Narita Airport to Osaka then back to Tokyo for travelling before heading back to Narita Airport for my flight back.
1. If i get the JR pass for 7 days, does it include the travel to osaka and back to tokyo and also to narita airport?
2. And also can i use the JR pass to travel within Osaka? I would like to visit Universal Studio Japan, Kaiyukan Aquarium and Osaka Castle. Can I use the JR pass to go to all these places as well?
3. Same goes in Tokyo, I would like to go DisneySea and also Shibuya area, can i use the JR pass to travel?

*I have seen the JR pass map which has shown the JR Lines are available for these places, but i would like to double confirm before booking. Can anyone please help me? Thank you in advance =)

Hi there,

1.) Yes, all of this travel is included.

2.) Local JR lines in Osaka as included and can be used to see most of the city. It will require a bit of planning though, such as finding the closest stations to the places you wish to visit and planing to go there from your accommodation.

3.) Travel to Disney resort (Maihama station) and Shibuya are both included.

You can also use the JR Pass for any day trips you may like, think of Nara, Kobe and Nikko.

Hope this helps,

hello there, thanks for your reply.

Is JR line and Shinkansen different? Where can I check which station should I get on to for using JR pass or the timetable of the train? Is there a website that displays these? It would be very helpful for me to plan my time ahead. Thanks.
