Hi
Planning to arrive in Japan on the 23rd June (Narita airport) and planning to buy a 7 day pass but the pass wont cover airport to Tokyo and Tokyo to Narita. Please advise:
1) Tokyo to Kyoto - 24th to 27th June
2) Kyoto to Shizuoka - 27th to 29th June
3) Shizuoka to Chiba - 29th June
4) Chiba to Tokyo - 30th June to the 4th July.
We are 4 adults.

Hi there,
I think a 7 day JR Pass is the best option if you can cover the return Tokyo - Kyoto with it, in the first 7 days. Local travel around Tokyo won't cost a lot, so you will be fine buying normal tickets in Japan.
