Hi there,

We want to go from Tokyo to Sapporo via Train and we plan to buy the JR 7 day pass. Daytime travel is fine. Can I use the JR pass to travel from Tokyo to Sapporo? or like between Tokyo and Kyoto?

Hi there,

You can use the JR Pass to travel both to Sapporo and Kyoto. However do keep in mind that these places are opposite from each other and it takes many hours to travel between them.

Travel from Tokyo - Sapporo is a little over 7 hours. While Tokyo - Kyoto is about 3 hours.

Hope this helps,
