Hi
Am travelling to Tokyo in Nov and want to understand if the following itinerary suits JR pass

Have booked accommodation in Tokyo, so looking at going back tokyo within a day's activities.
Day 1 Reach Tokyo, narita airport, coach to hotel(bought)
Day 2 Tokyo
Day 3 Day trip, self exploring to Mt Fuji thru train to 5th station
Day 4 Day trip, kyoto likely Gion and walk around
Day 5 Day trip, shin Osaka, likely going to shinsaibashi area
Day 6 Tokyo
Day 7 Tokyo
Day 8 fly home from Tokyo narita airport, coach to airport (bought)

Still in planning stage and I understand kyoto and osaka is quite far to do within a day.

Hi there,

I think your basic plan looks good. What I would recommend is staying at least 1-2 nights in Kyoto/Osaka. This way you have more time to explore each city and make it easier to travel around.

Also for Fuji, I recommend reading this post:

Enjoy Japan!
