Hi, i will go to jpn end of this month and want yo buy hokuriku arch pass. I want to know what train is covered by hokuriku arch pass for my journey from shinosaka to kyoto. How about JR tokaido sanyo main line new rapid? Is it covered by Hokuriku arch pass? Thanks

Hi there,
Yes, you can use local trains between Kyoto and Osaka. The Shinkaisoku (or JR Special Rapid) is considered such a train.
