Hello there,

A 7 day JR Pass could be useful if you use it to travel from Sapporo - Tokyo using rail. However I assume this is by plane as you write Haneda Airport? If fly from Sapporo to Tokyo, then it is better to buy normal tickets within Tokyo and look for a discount ticket between Sappro and Asahikawa.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
