Hi there,

I was wondering if you could help me!

26th Feb 2019- Hiroshima airport to Hiroshima
2nd March - Hiroshima to Nara
6th March - Nara to Hiroshima
10th March Kyoto to Tokyo
14th March 2019- Tokyo to Tokyo airport.

Can I use the JR Pass on all routes above?
Do I have to pay any seat fees for any routes above, and how much would this be?
Which pass should I purchase?
Would the pass be cheaper for me than buying individual tickets?
Can I activate the pass at Hiroshima Airport?

I appreciate any help that you can give me!

Hi there,

The JR Pass covers the entire route but right now it is slightly cheaper to buy normal tickets than a pass.

The cost of a one way Hiroshima - Kyoto is around 11,000yen and Kyoto - Tokyo around 14.500yen

If you do get pass, then you can activate it at Hiroshima station but not at the airport.
