haneda to sendai
Hi there!
First travel to Tokyo station using the Tokyo Monorail and Yamonote line. You can board the Shinkansen from here to Sendai. A one way ticket is ¥ 10,590 so it's probably best to just buy return tickets.
Hope this helps!
Daniel
Daniel am I correct, your advice is to travel into Tokyo via monorail and then Yamonote line, and from there to board shinkasen to Sendai.as I arrive into Haneda late at night we are thinking of getting a business hotel in Tokyo for the night and then travelling to Sendai the next afternoon, is it cheaper or easier to prepurchase shinkasen tickets or is there somewhere to buy tickets either at Tokyo station or at Haneda airport, , oh and what would the monorail into Tokyo cost
Hi again!
The price of a Shinkansen ticket does not change if you purchase it in advance or right before departure. So you could just buy a ticket the following morning. You can purchase tickets at any JR station in Japan.
As for travel from Haneda Airport - Tokyo, expect to pay between 600-1000yen for transport from the Airport to Tokyo. The exact price depends on the location of your hotel.
