I'm in group of 5 adults and 2 children (11 & 12), arrive in Haneda at 21 June 2015 and staying in Asakusa. We are looking for your advise if we should buy 7-days JR pass or not, wheater it is more efficient for us or not. Below is our detail itinerary:
21 June - Arrive Haneda midnight
22 June - travel to Asakusa - buy 1-day common pass for Haneda -Asakusa - Harajuku - Shibuya - Akihabara - Asakusa
23 June - Asakusa/Ueno - Maihama - Disney Sea - Maihama - Asakusa (exchange JR pass in this day if using JR Pass?)
24 June - Asakusa/Ueno - Lake Kawaguchi - Gotenba - Ueno/Asakusa
25 June - Ueno (Tokyo) - Tsukiji Market
26 June - Tokyo - Kyoto --> Ueno-Kyoto (05:29am-08:02) by JR Keihin Tohoku Line + Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen Is this valid schedule ? (is this Sanyo Shinkansen COVERED by my 7-day JR Pass?)
26 June (continued) - Arashiyama - Kiyomizudera Temple - Higashiyama District - Gion District - Nishiki Market - (any coverage by JR Pass in this section?)
27 June - Kyoto Station, travel to Osaka by Shinkansen (is this Shinkansen Kyoto - Osaka covered by JR Pass?)
27 June (continued) - Osaka Castle - Shitennoji Temple - Universal Studio area - Shinosaka Hotel (any coverage by JR Pass in this section?)
28 June - Change hotel to Namba Area (Osaka Station - Minami Senba Area - any coverage by JR Pass in this section?)
28 June (continued) - Sightseeing around Minami (Namba area) - Dotonburi Tenjinbashi suji - Sinsaibashi street - some in Umeda ( Kita)
29 June - Namba Area to Kansai Airport - (any coverage by JR Pass in this section?)
