Just ordered a regular 7 day pass for my client. She is going from Tokyo to Kyoto to Osaka with side trips to Hiroshima and Mt. Fuji. Someone just said the trains may not go to all of the cities. Should I have purchased the first class train or will she be ok?
Green trains
Hi there,
Ordinary Class in Japan is better than 1st class in some countries and most passengers will be more than fine travelling ordinary class. That said, taking the upgrade to Green Class is very nice and great for those who wish to travel in more comfort and quiet.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
But do the trains go to the same cities on all lines?
Someone told me that sometimes green trains to to places the other class of train does not. Are they misinformed?
Hi again,
There are no "Green" Only cars. Every train has ordinary seats and most limited express train and Shinkansen trains have Green Seats for passengers who wish for such things.
