Hi there,

There are many stations called Namba, for the subway, nankai and JR. For JR use the station JR-Namba. From there you can use the JR Pass to travel to Shin-Osaka from where Shinkansen depart to different areas in Japan. Both travel to Shin-Osaka and all Shinkansen lines are included in the JR Pass (just keep in mind that train services called Nozomi/Mizuho are not included).

Hope this helps,
Daniel
