Hi
I am planning to visit Kyushu in end of this month...

I will be landed in Fukuoka airport on 7/27 around noon
move to Nagasaki right away.

I need time schedule for this plan
---------------- Fukuoka to Nagasaki

also I am thinking to visit Arita If I could....
However I had difficulty finding line from Nagasaki to Arita...
I am thinking to spend the night(27th) in Nagasaki or arrive Arita at night and spend night there.

I need plan for this also.... :(
--------------- Nagasaki to Arita

I find Arita to Fukuoka line very easily so this line would be easy.

Please help me :)

Thank you

Use Hyperdia and just plug in your starting point and end point, plus date/time that you like. But be sure under "More Options" to deselect "Nozomi..." if you are taking the bullet train, since you can't ride that on the Pass.

Please remember also that the day you activate it for counts as Day One - which starts and ends at midnight. So if you activate it and use it at 6 PM, your first "day" is just 6 hours long.

For Fukuoka, there are many open parks, shopping, seaside historical areas, and urban neon. See this site as a good guide.

For Fukuoka, don't miss the Nanzoin Temple which is one of Japan's finest yet almost totally unknown to the outside world and completely FREE!

Look into a Fukuoka Tourist City Pass also.

You can also see a lot of previews on the best there is to see here.

In terms of history and varied points of interest, Nagasaki is really the most interesting city on the island. It is worth a couple days to see the city, and another day to see areas nearby like Shimabara/Unzen or whatever interests you. Gunkanjima, while it takes 3 hours, will blow your mind.
