Hello, I will be taking a shinkansen from Tokyo to Shin-osaka and then transfer to Imazato Kintetsu. May I know which routes will be included in the JR Pass and which won't? Also what is the best and fastest way to reach there?

Hi there,

The station name already gives a little bit away. Kintetsu is a private railway and you can't use the JR Pass on the Kintetsu lines.

You can use the JR Pass as far as Tsuruhashi station. From there it is just 2 stops away on the Kintetsu line or 1.9 km on foot.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
