We plan on traveling to Japan in 2 weeks. we will be staying mostly in Tokyo with a day trip to Kyoto and arriving and departing from Naritia. I have 3 questions. First will it be worth it to have a JRpass for this trip? Second our plans are contingent on flying stand by so if i buy these can they be returned if we don't get to Japan? Third how long does it take to get the exchange if I live near Detroit? Is it mailed?
exchange the pass
Hello there,
1.) Yes, as long as you can cover the return trip Tokyo - Kyoto using the JR Pass, then JR Pass is worth considering. Basically the cost of a 7 day JR Pass is about the same as a return trip Tokyo - Kyoto.
2.) The JR Pass is refundable but a refund fee applies.
3.) We dispatch your order within 1 business day, then its 1 more day for shipping. We deliver by FedEx.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
thank you!
