Hi,
I will be travelling from Hakone to Hiroshima. From Hiroshima i will travel to Kyoto. From Kyoto to Osaka airport. Duration will be 5 days. Do i need the JR Pass, is it more economical to buy another pass or seperate tickets.
please advise, i have never been to japan so no idea

A 7 day JR Pass would be great here.
Odawara (Hakone) - Hiroshima ¥ 18,020
Hiroshima - Kyoto ¥ 12,080
Kyoto - Kansai Airport (Osaka international) ¥ 3,370
For a total of ¥ 33,470 or ¥ 4,360 savings with the JR Pass. As the 7 day JR Pass is ¥ 29,110. Additionally, the JR Pass is valid for the tourist bus around Hiroshima and ferry to Miyajima.
