Hi, Can anyone advised.

I will be in Tokyo for 13 nights staying near Waseda station and from there catching a Bullet train to
Kyoto for 10 days. One day trip to Nara.
From Kyoto to Osaka for another 10 nights. Day trip to Himeji and a couple of day trips to Kobe visiting a friend.

I am not sure if a should get a pass or not and if so which one. Would it be worth to get a 7 day for my main travel to Kyoto from Tokyo?

Hello there,

I don't think that you will be able to make savings with a JR Pass. As a one way Tokyo - Kyoto alone is not enough for a JR Pass to help you make savings.

You can use the JR Pass Fare Calculator to find an approximate ticket cost of a single route or even your full itinerary. It's a great tool to help you plan and match a JR Pass to your plans.
