I have about 6 days in Japan. Will arrive at Narita airport around 5pm... on first day then about 5pm as well have to leave Japan. Thus, will only have 4 full days.. I know I'll only able visit Tokyo area and Hakone. Is it cost saving to buy the JR 7 days pass and the Hokene Free pass? Or shall I buy the JR Kanto pass or JR East pass with the Hakone Freepass?

Thanks.

Hello,
A 7 day JR Pass and JR East Pass would not be cost effective for you. For Hakone, the Hakone Free Pass makes a lot of sense. A Kanto Area Pass might make sense, but it depends on where you are going. If for example you did a day trip to Nikko, Kusatsu, Karuizawa, or Izu, you could get your money's worth and then some in just a single day. If you're only going to stay within Tokyo though, a 3 day subway pass would serve you better.

Best of luck.
