Can I use my JR Rail Pass to travel from Tokyo Station to the Narita International Terminal 1 on 24 March, 2015 without additional charges? I will be arriving in Osaka, so I cannot book a round trip ticket. Thank you very much!

Hi there,

Yes the JR Pass covers both the Narita Express and local trans going from Tokyo to Narita Airport, so you can travel in style without additional charges.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Does the Narita Express require a reservation? How do I make a reservation? Can I make the reservation online? Thank you very much!

Hi there,

Yes the Narita Express requires a reservation. Just go to a manned staff counter and tell the JR staff that you wish to travel to Narita Airport. They will then reserve the tickets for you. This can be done at any station within Japan.
