I fly in to Tokyo - Narita airport- on Sunday June 28th. This is not enough time to purchase tickets online- how can I do this in Tokyo? Is there a JR ticket counter at the airport? If so, is it easy to find? Thanks!
Buying tickets in Tokyo
Hi,
If you are referring to the Japan Rail Pass, you cannot buy it once in Japan. At best, you can order it before you leave, and the vouchers can be mailed to you in Japan if you have a stable address to send it to.
You did not give any info on your plans, so it is impossible to tell if a pass would be cost effective for you. In the worst case scenario though, you could buy some regional passes once in Japan to save you some money.
