Hi,

I'm visiting Kyoto for a few days next October.
I read information about Kansai Area passes and I'm not sure if Biwako line is included in the Kansai Area Pass. If I look to the picture of JRWest site it seems so, but reading some other sites and forums it seems the that is is only included in Kansai Wide Area pass. Could you please help me with this ? I'm afraid I'm confused by info that may not be really updated. Thank you.

Hi there,

Let me ask it this way: To what station do yo need to travel? This will make it easier to find the coverage area.

Thank you!

Hello,

thank you for your response. The station is Otsu. I'm not sure if kansai area pass includes all the lines / trains that stop there.
