Hello there,

For your itinerary I would advise a 14 day JR Pass. Mainly because most your nationwide travel (Tokyo - Osaka - Hiroshima - Kyoto - Tokyo) is done in a period longer than 7 days.

If you could travel Tokyo - Osaka - Hiroshima - Kyoto - Tokyo, then a 7 day JR pass would also be of good use.

Either way you can make good savings over normal train tickets both with a 7 day and 14 day JR Pass.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
