Staying in Osaka for a few days when we arrive, then going to Kyoto and Nara then back to Tokyo for a few day before returning home. I could get a 7-day JR pass?

My itinerary:
23/07/16 - Arrive Osaka
24 & 25/07/16 - Kyoto & Nara
25/07/16 - Night bus to Disneyland
26 & 29/07/16 - Tokyo
30/07/16 - Narita Airport

Am I correct that a JR pass would be the best ticket for my travel plans? Or others recommended?

Thanks Regine

Hi there,

1.) Yes, you are right :) The JR Pass would be the best option here. However that is only if you travel back to Tokyo using the Shinkansen bullet train and not the night bus. Personally I can't sleep at all on any night bus and am so groggy the following morning, which is a shame if you have cool stuff to do..like visiting Disneyland. You can find an accommodation cheaper than the night bus in Tokyo, so its better for budget too.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
