Hi, we are a group of 3 adults travelling to japan next mth for 15 days but very confused with the jr pass. Should we get the 7 or 14 day pass. Heres our itinerary
26/6 Arriving narita airport
Tokyo for 3 nights - might go to hakone if have time
29/6 tokyo to kyoto - 4 nights
3/7 kyoto to osaka - 2 nights 5/7 osaka to hiroshima - 2 nights
7/7 hiroshima to miyajima island - 1 night
8/7 miyajima to tokyo - 2 nights
10/7 tokyo to narita airport
Can u plse give us some advise. Thanks

Hello there,

You will be traveling a good amount, in a period that is longer than 7 days. My advice, therefore, would be to use a 14 day JR Pass. You will make good savings compared to buying normal rail tickets and the JR Pass would cover all your travel between the above placed.

You still may need local travel for Hakone and local transport in cities. For Hakone a Hakone Free Pass can be good.
