I am planning a trip with a friend and the trail schedule is really confusing! Can you please tell me if the 14 day JR pass is worth buying?
We land in Tokyo the evening of Feb 6th and will be in Tokyo for 2 nights.
Feb 8 morning-leave Tokyo to Mt. Fuji
Feb 9 evening- leave Mt. Fuji to Kyoto
Feb 13 morning -leave Kyoto for Koyasan
Feb 15 evening-leave Koyasan to Hiroshima
Feb 18 morning-leave Hiroshima to Kobe.

Hi Kris,
What will you do after Kobe? A 14 day JR Pass would be worth it if you return to Tokyo after Kobe but not if you would just stay in Kobe.
You can use the JR Pass Fare Calculator to find an approximate ticket cost of a single route or even your full itinerary.

You have been very helpful, Daniel, thanks so much! We are not going to Tokyo afterwards. We will spend a week in Kobe for a conference, then fly back to the US from Osaka. The calculator was a great help!
