Where to stay our last night in Japan?

My family (2 adults, 2 children) has most of our trip planned, but I am looking for advice for the last three nights. We will be traveling in November. So far:
4 nights in Tokyo (already booked)
4 nights in Kyoto (already booked)
2 nights in Hiroshima (flexible)
1 night in ??? preferably with a view of Mt Fuji -- leave directly from here for Narita airport.

Is it reasonable to travel from Hiroshima to Hakone for our last night? Is it reasonable to leave from Hakone directly for Narita?

Thanks for any input on our last three nights.

Hi Louisa,

It would be a good idea to spend your last night near Odawara station. This is the Shinkansen station for Hakone and can easily be reached from Hiroshima. Additionally it's not hard to travel from there to Narita Airport.

Odawara is the base station for Hakone, you can explore to area from there and return by dusk to sleep and travel on the Narita Airport the following day.

Hiroshima is a great place to stay, so I'd book your 2 nights there. From Hiroshima it is also easy to make day trips to places such as Miyajima and Iwakuni.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
