Hello, my wife and I will be in Japan for two weeks and will be traveling between Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Kinosaki.
Would a two week JR pass be suitable for this as well as traveling around Tokyo Metro?

Thank you.

Hi there,

The best option would be to use a 7 day JR Pass if you can fit in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Kinosaki within this time period. Otherwise I think the the best option would be to opt to buy normal tickets. This because normal tickets would cost less than a 14 day JR Pass.

You can use the local JR network in Tokyo but note that the Metro is not included.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
