Hi Admins,

We're going to Japan next month and I just want to check whether it is better to get the JRP for our itinerary or if it's cheaper to purchase individual tickets.

PORT OF ENTRY: NARITA
Spend 1 night in Tokyo then travel to OSAKA the next day followed by Kyoto then back to OSAKA and travel back to TOKYO and spend the rest of the trip there. We're staying for 9 days.

Please help.

Thanks heaps.

Hi Naomi,

I would advise a 7 day JR Pass for your trip! The 7 day JR Pass is about the same price as a normal return ticket Tokyo - Osaka using the Shinkansen. Now you get 7 days of unlimited travel for the same price! Which you can use for travel to Tokyo, within Tokyo on the JR and also in Osaka, not to forget travel to Kyoto.

Hope this helps!
Daniel
