Hello!
I am looking at the above itinerary and in particular the 07:30 Ltd Exp Azusa from Shinjuku which arrives at Otsuki at 08:30 before changing to Fujikyu at 08:35.
I understand that Shinjuku - Otsuki is covered by JR pass and Otsuki - Kawaguchiko is not, so my question is whether changing trains is achievable in only 5 minutes?
I know there is some information on this change online but there are different accounts regarding platforms, how and where to buy ticket etc. Ideally it would be possible to transfer to Fujikyu train straight away and purchase ticket either on board or at Kawaguchiko - otherwise it seems very tight for time.
