My husband and I have big plans to land in Osaka, then travel to Tokyo, then Kyoto and back to Osaka over 7 days. What's the easiest most effective way to travel to these cities? Is a JR pass right for us?

Hi there,
Yes, a JR Pass would be great for your trip. The cost of a normal return ticket Osaka or Kyoto to Tokyo is about the same as the cost for a 7 day JR Pass. Now you get 7 days of unlimited travel for the same price and any additional travel is basically free.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
