Hi Pauline,

Amazing itinerary! The JR Pass will help you make some good savings for sure and includes most of your travel (of course the flight from France is not included)!

The other parts that may require an additional fee are the bus between Takayama and Shirakawaga and the Nankai Express for the last part between Osaka station and Nagoya.

For your arrival I would opt for the Keisei Skyliner because it is easier to use when you travel to Asakusa.

I hope this helps!

PS: Did you know there's a complete Japanese Quarter in Paris near Opera (metro stop) ? I'ts a great way to get a taste of Japan before you set out for the real thing!

Dear Daniel San,

Thank you for your answer ! You made me laugh ! ^^ Of course, leaving from Paris to Tokyo is not included in the JR pass XD mouahahah (will fly with Emirates).

Well, yes from Takayama to Takyama (through Shirakawago) I'm aware of it.

When you say it includes most part, do you mean their will be more costs to some of my trains?

Cool, so I will use the skyliner, I didn't know which one to choose between the two.

Ps : Yes ^^ it's the "Quartier St Anne" and it's the best to eat either Japanese or Korean ^^

Thank you very very much, I know you must be soo busy !

Arigatou gozaimashita !

Hi Again,

By most I mean pretty much all except for travel between Koya and Osaka which is around 900yen / one way I believe. This because you travel on the Nankai Express which is a privately held company. Other than that, it is all covered!

Let me know if you have any other question, I'd me more than happy to help :)
-Daniel

PS: Emirates is pretty nice! I guess you get the see the golden airport of Dubai as well!
