Hi,

I was just wondering if getting a 7 day JR pass would be worthwhile (and doable) with my current itinerary:

08 April - Koyto to toyama bay
09 April - toyama bay to mount Fuji
10 April - Mount Fuji to Tokyo
11 April - Tokyo disneyland
12 April - Tokyo DisneySea
13 April - Tokyo to Hitachinaka, Ibaraki (day trip back to tokyo)
14 April - Tokyo day trip, tokyo tower, Ghibli Museum, Shinjuku etc (to Haneda airport fly back)

Thanks for helping.

Hi there!

I checked if a JR Pass would be helpful for your travels but I must say that for now it would be better to buy normal tickets. With the JR Pass you could cover Kyoto - Toyama ¥ 9,420 Toyama - Tokyo ¥ 11,600 (assuming you visit Fuji on the way) or about ¥ 21,000 together. The 7 day JR Pass is 28,300 so you'd need to do a little more travel for the pass to pay off.

For the rest, your plan certainly looks doable and a lot of fun too!

Have a great time in Japan!
