Hello,

I am going to Japan in September,
and I would like to one day to Mt Fuji want to go to Hakone but here I am stuck.

I thought Tokyo to go to Kawaguchiko (from Shinjuku to fujikye railway line)
there to have a nice view of Mt Fuji.

But then I am stuck how do I go from Kawaguchiko to Hakone (possibly stopping at Owakudani) to stay there?

someone sugesties

thanks in advance
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

It depends on where in Hakone you want to be.

Here is a useful guide on how to access Hakone. (Select from Fuji 5 lakes at the top).

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Thx for the responce,

I have to go to this hotel Hakone Gora Kanon
I suspect to Gora itself :)

so I take the bus to Gotemba then to Togendai I can take the ropeway to owakudani and so on with the ropway to gora

correct?

Hi again,

It depends, you can use a Hakone Free pass from Shinjuku on the Odakyu line but not on the JR lines. You can of course use a JR Pass to travel to Otsuki as well.
