hi there,

ill be traveling from Tokyo > Kyoto > Osaka > Tokyo, should i purchase a JR pass?

Hi there,

The quick answer is yes, given that you can do the above travel within a 7 day period.

The JR Pass covers the route between all this places and can also be used for local travel on JR trains in Tokyo, Osaka and to a limited extent in Kyoto.
