Hi there,

Visiting Japan for your wedding anniversary is a great choice!

A 7 day JR Pass could work well for your itinerary if you can make the return Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka within it's validity period. Right now it would work best if you activate it on the 28th of March and return from Osaka on the 3rd. This way you could cover the most of your travel with the JR Pass.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for your help.

In regards to the airport transfer from Narita to Tokyo city, should I just purchase the normal ticket or should I buy the 14 days JR Raill Pass?

& I have to change my plan a bit as per below :

28 March : Hakone - Nara

How long does it takes to get here & do you have JR raill as well along this line?

Thank you & really appreciate your help!

Hi again!

I would recommend just buying a normal ticket for your arrival. So a 7 day JR Pass remains the best option!

Here is the route from Odawara to Nara. Odawara is the Shinkansen station for Hakone. Possibly you may need to use local transport to travel there 1st.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi Again!

The JR Pass covers the Narita Express! So no need for an other ticket :)

Hi Daniel,

Sorry another question be, apparently I need to travel from TOKYO TO HAKONE on the 27 March, instead of the 28 March. So I need the JR PASS for this trip, do I need to book for 14 days for cheaper rate or 7 days only?

Thank you!

The itinerary goes like this

24 March : NARITA - TOKYO
25 March : TOKYO
26 March : Disney Sea
27 March : TOKYO - HAKONE
28 March : HAKONE - KYOTO
29 MARCH : KYOTO
30 MARCH : KYOTO - NARA - KYOTO
31 MARCH : KYOTO - OSAKA
1 APRIL : OSAKA
2 APRIL : OSAKA - TOKYO
3 APRIL TOKYO - NARITA

Looking forward to hear from you.

Thank you!

Hi Cika,

A 7 day JR Pass would be fine for the above itinerary. You could make the best savings from March 27th - April 2nd. Then buy a normal tickets back to Narita Airport.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
