Is the Keikyu Airport line exp. included in JRP?

We arrive the 25th of July in the Haneda Airport and are planing to go directly to Kyoto.

We are aware that we should take the Keikyu Airport line exp. to Shinagawa station in order to get the Hikari Shinkasen there, but we are not sure if the Keikyu Airport line is covered by the Japan Rail pass. ¿Could you help me?

Thank you,

Hello Paula,

The Keikyu is not included, as its a private railway.

You can however use the Tokyo Monorail from Haneda with the JR Pass to travel into Tokyo, it also connects to the Yamanote line at Hamamatsucho station, from where you can visit major stations like Tokyo, Shinagawa, Ueno, Shinjuku and so on.

Hope this helps,
