Hi, I was wondering if it is worth it if I got the nationalwide JR pass with the following itinerary.

Kansai Airport to near USJ then to Namba area
Followed by day trips to Nara & Kyoto

Then shinkansen to Tokyo (from what i understand, JRN covers shinkansen as well?)

Around tokyo area to maybe Hakone & Fuji

Shinjuku to Haneda airport.

Also, does first class mean green seats? without first class, can I still reserve seats?

Hi there,

A JR Pass is a great choice if you make a return trip Tokyo - Osaka (or the other way around). However your trip basically is a one way with different stops along the way. Therefore I would recommend buying normal tickets for this route.

Here is how to make seat reservations:

Hope this helps,
Daniel
